My name is Stephanie, and I’m married to an amazing man (Kieran) and the proud and sometimes exhausted mom of 3 terrific kids (2 in college and one young teen). Big fan of traveling, tech toys, music, my fabulous white Havanese puppy Shamrock, and all things aquatic.
Over a decade ago I founded Red Penguin Web Solutions – a web marketing/consulting company dedicated to getting our clients to STAND OUT, and I adore working with hundreds of businesses, institutions and organizations in getting them discovered and communicating on the internet.
Last year we launched Red Penguin Books, a publishing company working with authors of all genres but specializing in working with business owners and professionals who would like to increase their businesses and further their careers through book publishing. We’ve recently launched our “Gift of Memories” division, working with memoirists to probe their past to find future fulfillment by defining their dreams, healing old hurts and leaving a legacy
Wishing to spread the fun – and frustrations – of technology today, I produce and host a television show called “Technically Speaking” – an educational yet entertaining look at the technology we deal with everyday. “Technically Speaking” airs throughout Long Island – as well as the world through YouTube, and has won numerous awards throughout the Northeast.
A lifelong teacher, I have taught students from the earliest preschoolers to many years joyfully teaching high school and college students. For the past 9 years I have been educating and inspiring the next generation of young entrepreneurs in my work as a professor in the Marketing Department at Nassau Community College, teaching courses ranging from the principles of sales to small business marketing and beyond.
Speaking with groups – ranging from business conferences to networking groups – is a personal joy, and I am often invited to present and lead workshops at events throughout the year, and I revel at each invitation.
In an entirely different venue, I have the absolute joy and privilege of leading the music and choirs of St. Anastasia Church in Douglaston as their Music Director, where I sing/play organ and direct concerts and musicals, including “Godspell”, “Children of Eden” and “Fiddler on the Roof”.
Life is good.
